Halloween 2017

EWECC children and staff celebrated Halloween with a costume parade outside of the Center. Gearing up for the holiday, every child at the Center received their own pumpkin to decorate, thanks to Babinski Farms in Wainscott. There were pumpkins gussied up with glitter, made colorful with paint drippings a la Jackson Pollock, and even planted with “hair” made of kale harvested from the children’s own raised-bed gardens, atop happy faces. Four winners of a contest to guess the weight of one large pumpkin — those whose guesses came close to the correct weight — received an EWECC tote bag full of books.
